Ongoing Project
My research blends photochemistry, electrochemistry, thin film technology, and sensing methodologies to advance interdisciplinary understanding. In my PhD, I aim to pioneer innovative approaches by integrating materials science, chemistry, and data analytics.
Photocatalytic Property of Nd Doped CuO
- XRD shows peak shifts and preferential growth changes with doping.
- bandgap reduces with doping, and 3% doping suddenly increases the bandgap due to the Burstein-Moss effect.
- Ftir shows Nd-O and Cu-O formation and bondlength changes with doping
- A maximum of 76% of RhB was degraded after 3 hours of UV irradiation.
Nonenzymatic glutamate sensor
• We developed a low-cost, ultra-sensitive disposable nonenzymatic electrochemical glutamate sensor by modifying a glassy carbon electrode (GCE).
• To the best of our knowledge, there is no report on CuO-GCE for the detection of glutamate.
• We investigated the sensing mechanism through the scan rate and pH-dependent analyses, as well as sensing performances, including LOD, sensitivity, and interference
